Cathy Duplechin joined the staff on April 1, 2013 as Office Administrator of Congregation B’nai Israel. As a
non-profit director of the St. Landry-Evangeline United Way for 20 years, she
looks forward to using her experience in bookkeeping, volunteer development,
grant writing and office management to assist the board with the goals of the
Temple. Meeting the members and putting
a face to the names is a special treat to her.
Cathy resides in Denham Springs. She has 4 adult children (Tanya - married to Travis, Derek - married to Leah, Gerry and Tony) and 3
grandchildren (Cooper, Trinity and Noah), all living in the Baton Rouge area except Gerry
(US Air Force)who is stationed in Germany.
She was born in Oklahoma, moved around during her childhood but settled
in Louisiana as an adult. She is an
Essential Oils Health Coach and Independent Distributor for Young Living and an Independent Designer for
Origami Owl Custom Jewelry in the evenings and on weekends. Although she is happiest staying busy and
learning new things, Cathy enjoys television and hanging out with her family.
